“What would you do if your new neighbours were nudists?”

Boy Reporter Productions commissioned a team of journalists to pose this question to scores of ordinary people across Australia. The answers were surprising, sincere, outrageous and hilarious.

The edited interviews - from more than 20 hours of raw audio material - provide the dialogue track for THE COLONY, a 22 minute stop-motion animation film exploring Australia’s national identity, and our views on difference, tolerance and outsiders.

It’s a story of prejudice, paranoia and pink bits in modern Australia.

THE COLONY is currently in pre-production, with development assistance from the Australian Film Commission.
